Photograph original work

A high quality transparency is required if the original work is larger than A2 or unsuitable for scanning. ArtChroma can help arrange photography and only works with experienced professionals. Digital files supplied by customers can be used - please call for details.
Scan and set up edition

The transparency or original work is scanned and an initial proof created. When the proof is approved, an Artist's Proof is created using the materials and specification of the edition.

Print as you make sales

The edition is then printed as sales are made, avoiding a large initial investment in printing the entire edition. The expense of managing a large stock of prints is also greatly reduced, enabling artists and galleries to enter the print publishing market without incurring undue risk.
Add to your print portfolio

All work that has been scanned can be issued as a limited edition at any time in the future. The portfolio of Artist's Proofs becomes a valuable archive of the artists development and a catalogue for potential buyers and collectors.
